Etika Helical Staircase – An architectural icon linking design and winemaking heritage in Valpolicella.

This majestic Etika model helical staircase, with a diameter of 320 cm, a striking 80 cm central helical column, and a total height of 700 cm, was designed to serve as both a visual centerpiece and functional connector in the headquarters of a prestigious winery located in the Valpolicella region near Verona.

The project responds to the need to seamlessly connect the office showroom spaces with the wine cellar below, establishing an architectural link that enhances spatial flow and strengthens the identity of the environment. The staircase unfolds in a powerful, fluid spiral that rises elegantly across the levels, creating a visually dramatic and sculptural presence.

Crafted in satin-finished treated metal, the structure balances solidity and elegance. The helical central column provides both structural support and visual impact, while the horizontal-bar steel railing ensures safety without compromising transparency. Surrounded by expansive glass walls, the staircase interacts with natural light and reflections, becoming an integral part of a bright, contemporary interior.
